Cillian Murphy. Theatre Career

Murphy made his professional acting debut in Enda Walsh's play "Disco Pigs", which toured Europe, Canada, and Australia.

He played Claudio in Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" at Kilkenny Castle.

Murphy performed in "The Country Boy" at the Town Hall Theatre and "Juno and the Paycock" at the Gaiety Theatre.

He starred as Adam in Neil LaBute's "The Shape of Things" at the Gate Theatre in Dublin.

Murphy won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance for his role in "Misterman" at the Galway Arts Festival, Royal National Theatre, and St. Ann's Warehouse.

He played the roles of Crow and Dad in "Grief is the Thing with Feathers" at various venues including the Black Box Theatre, O’Reilly Theatre, Barbican Centre, and St. Ann's Warehouse.
